Raleigh, North Carolina, January 2026 –A Raleigh custom home by McNeill Burbank Homes has won a Silver Award for the Best Detached Home 3,001 – 3,500 sq. ft., Built for Sale category in the 2025 Best in American Living™ Awards (BALA) by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).Award levels, including platinum, gold and silver, as well as Best in Region and Of the Year recipients, are honored at the award ceremony held in February, during the 2026 International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Florida.
Designed to celebrate the continuous story of our beloved city, Burnette North 3439 is the culmination of timeless design married to modern innovation. With this project, our company had the opportunity to create a property that reflects architecturally the voice of our community as well as the vision of the conscientious leaders within the building industry. The custom home, Burnette North 3439, located in the Burnette North new home community of Raleigh, North Carolina was crafted using designs and materials that properly reflect and respect the surrounding residential area. All considerations from foundation to fixtures underwent extensive historical research in order to build a distinguishable property that accurately echoes the heart and soul of Raleigh, North Carolina. It was also imperative to cohesively weave into the home the latest in residential innovation and sustainability to meet the demands of modern-day as well as prolong longevity of the property itself.
